Usami Shokakudo

The office building is a four-story, reinforced-concrete structure with a semi-basement garage.Furthermore, in order to clearly distinguish the usage of the building, offices and work areas are located in the front while the residential area is located in the back.

The traditional Japanese alcove (tokonoma) from our former house has been relocated in the guest room of the residence. Gardens are found to the right and left of the residence and there is an inner garden on the northeast part of the lot which is considered to be an unlucky quarter.
